A Lightroom Spot Removal Tutorial, Holiday Inspiration and More.

Hello my lovely, How are you?

Today a mix of lovely things. Goodness, where does one begin?

Let’s Start with Last Night.

I watched the absolute loveliest movie on Prime. Something from Tiffanys.
It’s a beautiful, and heart warming story. Perfect for the holidays.

Oh, and I made the viral Christmas Crack recipe flying around on social.
Have you tried it?
Oh my word.
crackers, butter, brown sugar and chocolate chips.

Be warned. You won’t be able to stop at just one bite.

If you’ve been around my world, you know I do very little in the kitchen these days.
But this was so simple and quick, I might even make it again when Bryce is home.

Earlier In the Day

I have so much homespun left from my crafting days.
This beautiful homespun was designed by Meme’s Quilts. I googled to see if it’s still ‘out there’ and shockingly discovered it’s considered vintage now.
Holy heck, it wasn’t that long ago!

I had so much fun making these homespun ribbon rag balls in the afternoon (and evening while watching Something from Tiffany’s on ‘the horizontal’).
They’re lovely as gifts or just sitting in bowls.

To add a little extra lovely to my gift wrapping (part of today’s tiny film), I printed a few postcards from my Vintage art collection and thought perhaps you might like to print and share my fav, The Winter Couple.

Isn’t it beautiful?
Feel free to share this post with your family and friends who might like the print-download as well.

I printed mine on this Red River paper.

A Few Days Back Now | Twig Stars & a Lightroom Tutorial

Inspired by Annie of @most_lovely_things I made a big twig star (and another and another).

Her twig stars are so simple to make with a bit of hot glue and jute cord.
To finish mine off, I added an evergreen bough, some ribbon, and for the final touch…
Twinkle lights.
And cause I loved this one so much I made a few more big and small.

Be sure to visit Annie’s Instagram. It’s completely lovely and so inspiring.

Anyhow, as I was editing one of the twig star photos, I used the spot removal tool and thought, you might appreciate a quick demo of the update it received in Lr Classic v12.
