My Friday Finds…

Oh my goodness….
I’m bursting with joy to see my still life feature inside the pages of Bella Grace. Definitely a dream come true. Thank you Stampington. I’m truly honoured to be a part of such an amazing publication.

Everything Stampington creates is beautiful….. but there’s a little extra magic inside Bella Grace…..

It’s much more than a magazine…..

“What Makes Bella Grace Special:
• Folding, book-jacket cover • 160 high quality, matte pages • Thought-provoking prompts, along with workbook space for readers to journal and respond directly on its pages • Stories about how to live more authentically and with purpose • Zero outside advertising • Named one of min’s 30 hottest launches of 2014 out of 862 titles”

To celebrate this gift…. I’d like to send a copy to one lucky commenter…
To enter, please share one random fact about you in the comments… I will announce the winner on Sunday.

Thank you for stopping by….sharing your finds….

Kim – congratulations on being part of Bella Grace! When you announced this a while back, I ran out and bought a copy and LOVED IT. I am now a subscriber. When I opened the current issue, I wasn’t paying particular attention to who I was reading it. I turned the page, thought wow, that looks just like Kim’s work and of course, it was.

So I don’t need to win a copy. But I did want to add my congratulations to you.

Random fact? My favorite authors tend to not be widely published. But they’re important to me and their books influenced my life – people like Robert Grudin, Robert Benson, and Tom Morris. I’ve been influenced by others who are widely published as well – Gretchen Rubin and Anne Morrow Lindbergh for example.

Enjoy your week! Thanks for always giving me a prompt response when I’ve E-mailed you a question.

not to be all about Ben but I’ve had so many pe not to be all about Ben but

I’ve had so many people asking for an update on Benny. I thought I better do a post. ♡
first thank you all.
.
so we went for his limp but it ended up a little more complicated than that.
.
He has a heart murmur that the vet is quite concerned about.
the first 15 minutes of the phone call (because you can’t go into the vet) was about his little heart.
then she continued to say he has a torn ACL and because of the heart they can not do surgery.
so 6 weeks of bedrest with the hopes he will form some scar tissue and be ok to walk again but with a limp.
they are doing an echocardiogram on Tuesday to decide what to do next for the heart. He’s not symptomatic so we would not have known if we didn’t go for his leg.
.
.
which leads me to this…
the food we’ve had Ben on up until last year - is grain free - and it has been linked to the cause of the murmur.
last summer the vet suggested we take him off it because of the study linking it, so we switched then.
I can’t believe the food we choose because of the ‘quality’ is the cause.
and I can’t believe it’s still on the shelves.
.
if you’re curious about the study you can find the details with a quick google search.I also linked it in my stories.
.
And please share this with your pet owning friends as well. 🙏🏻
.
.
thank you for all the love & support about our Benny. so many beautiful comments and DMS. Grateful.
.
He’s taking it all like a trooper…other than when we go out for the loo he wags his tail and wiggles about thinking finally she’s taking me for our walk.
straight to the heart.
.
the LOVE is deep my friends.
as I know many of you get.

friends. this beautiful boy needs your prayers an friends.

this beautiful boy needs your prayers and lotsa good thoughts.
he’s been slowing down this past week and yesterday he started limping.
today it’s much worse.
unfortunately due to covid getting into a vet is slow.
praying they can help my boy…. he’s 11 but I need him for many more years to come.
