From One, Two… to a Summer Series
Day 13 of 31 Days of Blogging / ‘Cause Clearly It’s a Thing
It’s official. This Hängen rack situation has become a summer series.
Why?
One.
Cause the afternoon and evening light is just so right on this wall.
Two.
I love that I can easily swap out the rack. (this is the maple version). Oh, and Studio 50 just added concrete hooks to their design. Amazing!
Three.
It seems there’s always, always something pretty to hang on hooks.
Today.
Yarrow and flax from John’s slowly but surely coming along cut flower garden.
(ok so cut garden is an exaggeration. It’s just peonies, daisies, yarrow, flax, a puffy white something, and a whole lot of wild cosmos to come.)
Just for a fun, here’s the moody, rumpled preset on one exposed for the highlights as outlined in this post.
And ‘cause I believe every photo shoot needs some video. I made this tiny film.
Music: Epidemic Sound.
Camera Settings & Edits
I wanted a little motion blur with the apron (the right image above) so I had to bump up the f/stop to keep my shutter a little slower.
I had my phone connected to the SnapBridge app in my left hand and clicked away while flitting the apron around.
Nikon z6ii 50 mm z lens.
ISO 100, f/7.1, 1/100
The light images were edited with Mikado from the Signature preset collection / 33% strength, and Cloudy white profile from the Shades of White collection / 65% strength.
Linen from Vermont Linen Company.
And that’s a wrap for day 13 of 31. (only 18 more posts to go).
If you’re reading this… Thank you.
Let me know that YOU were here in the comments below. I love knowing who stopped by.
Keep creating my lovely. With love.
