Drama-Free//Joy-filled Printing

I’m obsessed with printing my photos and stationery designs.

It hasn’t always been this way. For the longest time, I wanted to print my work but the printer drama was way too frustrating. (printer-drama is NO joke).

Then a few years back my friend Xanthe Berkeley recommended I buy the Hp Tango and sign-up for their Instant Ink plan. For just a few dollars a month they mail you ink as you need it.
And so I did.
The Tango looks so pretty and more importantly, it works!
I started to print a little more but not a lot because I couldn’t find the paper I envisioned.
matte//white//plain-backed in sizes like 4x6 and 5x7.

Enter the Inner Circle and a whole lotta printing projects!
I shared about the Tango and my Hp Instant Ink plan.
It didn’t take long before many of the members were loving their Tango and Instant Ink plan too! (Think endless printing with no expensive cartridges!!)

If you use my referral link HP will give us each a free month of ink! Check it out!

Anyhow many of the members were mentioning their love for Red River paper. I resisted for some time because shipping from the US to Canada is quite pricey.
But then lovely Susan sent me a sampler of Red River papers in the mail. Oh, my word I couldn't believe paper could be so RIGHT.
GAME-CHANGER.

I placed my first order and another and another and I haven’t looked back.
My favorite Red River paper is polar matte. But I also love the aurora white, Palo Duro, and ultra satin pro.
They seem to have every size you can imagine.
My favorite print sizes are 4x6 & 5x7 with lots of white border space.

Sidenote: Do you know how easy it is to create lovely white borders in the Lightroom print module?
Recently I started adding white borders to my Instagram posts. So I made a Lightroom print template to keep it quick and cohesive. And today I decided I’d start printing each of my Ig posts. Like the multiples in this post.
There’s something magical about all the lovely white space to me! And I love putting prints in my pics. ♡

And so my lovely that’s how I print my pics and lovely stationery like this DRAMA-FREE.

As I mentioned in this FREE pretty printable to-do list post, I love Hammermill color copy paper in 28 & 32lb. It’s so smooth and totally elevates the writing experience.

Ok my lovely, that ends my story on how printing MORE & MORE came to be for me!

How ‘bout you? Are you printing your pretty pics? Do tell!

Thanks for stopping by. Have the BEST rest of your day.
