Lightroom Classic 12.1 Mask Panel Update
Plus My latest holiday DIY, Taper Candles and Twinkle Lights.
Adobe just release Lightroom Classic 12.1.
I’m most impressed with the additional updates to the mask panel. Specifically, segmented panels and solo mode.
Let’s take a look.
Additional updates to the mask panel include:
+An eye icon for each panel section. Click and hold on the eye icon to temporarily hide the panel’s adjustments. The eye icon will also be highlighted if any sliders have been adjusted. This is particularly helpful while in solo-mode.
+delete empty mask and delete all empty masks menu item. This makes it quick and easy to clean up your mask panel.

Next up a glass light fixture and an old window.
So good and worth the ‘fumes’.

Taper Candles and Twinkle Lights
I just wanted to reiterate how much I love the battery-operated, real wax candles I mentioned in my holiday gift guide.
I put one in each of the windows in my studio, and they look so beautiful. Plus, there's no fire risk, and I can set a timer to have them automatically turn off at 8 pm.
I'm also really enjoying the USB-powered twinkle lights. (no more batteries).
The remote has a timer and eight different twinkle settings to choose from.
And lastly, the real wax coating on my taper lights inspired me to coat all of my battery-operated candles with wax.
I posted the process on my Instagram story a few days ago if you want to check it out. It's under the holiday’s highlight.
