It’s been a few days since my initial Lightroom Classic 13 Point-Color video. (if you haven’t watched it, I’d do that first).

Anyhow, I thought I’d update you on how I’ve been using it since then in my workflow.

But first, I have to share some recent sunrise (fog) photos that would not have happened if I'd given in to the urge to stay in bed the other morning. And I’m pretty certain I would have if it weren’t for the Photo Club prompt: In out / Out in to motivate me.

The fog is a magician who performs the art of erasing things without actually erasing them!
— Mehmet Murat ildan

Ben and I hopped in the car and headed north, then east. Fog this thick is a rare gift around here.

I’ve just recently rediscovered this area and it did not disappoint. You can’t see it, but there’s a lake beyond the trees.

After shooting this special spot, Benny and I jumped in the car and slowly made our way north.

As I looked to the east, I saw this gate. Perfect for in/out. At least in my brain.
(us outside the gate looking into to the abandoned farm yard beyond.)

And then a little further down the road. This old machine shed. Even more perfect for in/out and utterly magical in the fog.

I’m so grateful for photography. For the thrill of finding magic through the lens. It honestly never disappoints.

Now, onto today’s tutorial.
