Editorial Matte Prints: The Magic is in the Tone Curve
Amazing. You’re here.

Today, I want to let you in on a little secret—the magical tone curve is at the heart of the Studio Collection matte presets, specifically ‘Serendipitous'.
In today’s video. I'm walking you through every step to recreate the Serendipitous tone curve magic so you can have some creative play with your own edits and presets.

This is my Epson Printer.
It’s economically priced, and I love its wide format, but it can be pretty persnickety with thicker paper (i.e., 80 lb+), and the ink adds up.
(If I were buying another inkjet, I’d consider this Canon instead, mainly because I’ve heard it plays nicer with thicker papers).Save 50% off the Studio collection (limited-time offer).
Red River Double-Sided Polar Matte Paper (I used 8.5x11.)
This paper is my favorite for cards or if I’m not framing it even though my printer doesn’t love it.
